His heart is to see transformative change take place in the lives of families in the communities in which New Life has a presence. The Bagwell family's journey and calling began with a terrible illness, a faithful God and a promise made. Click below to read the story.

Chris Bagwell, Founder & Vice-President
New Life Nicaragua, Managua, Nicaragua

Chris was born and raised in South Carolina where she worked in the hospital system for many years while raising three sons. She began coming to Nicaragua on short-term teams in 1997, and in 2002, she along with her husband, Tim, founded New Life Nicaragua. Always having a huge heart for babies and young children, it came natural for her to say yes when God started placing orphaned children in front of her. She and Tim have adopted four Nicaraguan girls. She is passionate about raising her children and seeing Christ's love bring healing and restoration to so many hurting people.

Rhonda Griffin, Director
A Cause for Tea, Monroe, NC

Rhonda is the founder of A Cause for Tea. She aspires to globally empower women and children, demonstrating God’s love, one tea cup at a time. During the last four years, Rhonda has partnered with organizations both locally and internationally to raise money and awareness for those in need. When she is not steeping tea, she spends her time teaching gardening to children in a local community program and serves on the Board of New Life Nicaragua; but her greatest joy is her husband and children.
